This 8-day Tanzania safari offers an unforgettable journey through some of Africa’s most iconic landscapes, providing rich wildlife encounters and cultural experiences. Whether it’s the vast plains of the Serengeti, the unique ecosystem of the Ngorongoro Crater, or the lush surroundings of Lake Manyara, each day promises new adventures and lasting memories.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. After check-in, relax and recover from your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you might explore Arusha town or visit a local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a full day of game drives, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. In the evening, settle into your lodge or tented camp within or near the park for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Depart early for the Serengeti, with a stop at Olduvai Gorge, the famous archaeological site known as the cradle of humankind. Continue your journey to the Serengeti, arriving in time for an afternoon game drive. Witness the endless plains and the incredible wildlife that the Serengeti is renowned for. Overnight at a lodge or tented camp in the park.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, you might witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the plains in search of fresh grazing. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, and return to your lodge or camp in the evening.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After a morning game drive and breakfast, head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, you may have another opportunity to visit Olduvai Gorge if you missed it earlier. Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim in time for a leisurely afternoon and breathtaking views of the crater. Overnight at a lodge on the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. The crater floor is home to a dense population of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino). Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool and continue your game drive in this unique and diverse environment. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and vibrant birdlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring the park’s diverse habitats, including its soda lake filled with flamingos. In the evening, transfer to your lodge or tented camp near the park.

Day 8: Lake Manyara to Arusha and Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your lodge before driving back to Arusha. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time for some last-minute shopping or a visit to a local cultural site. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
